lol. okay i am going to share about the few days i spent in malaysia last weekend. i left singapore on friday morning, reached there in the evening. though those few days were short, i was really glad to be able to meet up with my cousins again. they had been very hospitable and kind, and of course, their parents too. thanks man, if you are reading it, zeying. =) anyway this trip was really filled with unexpectable events man. loads happened and being clumsy as i am, i hurt myself quite a few times. nothing serious though. just knocked my arm against the gate, knocked my head as i was coming out of the car, kicked my toes against the bed, got my fingers stuck between 2 chairs, and stuff like that. yeap. but anyway, the most hectic day was sunday - the day we were returning to singapore. we went to the hospital to visit my uncle, then we went to a nearby (and lousy) hawker to eat at around 2.45pm, all 8 of the singaporeans and about 15 malaysians. while we were complaining about the mashed potatoes, mushroom soup and chicken cutlet we had ordered (which tasted like crap), my aunt who was holding the bus tickets back suddenly shouted, 'aiya! the bus leaves at 3pm, not 4pm!!' we had all though that the bus was leaving at 4pm and it was already 3.15pm. so we stood up all at once, ran to the cars, leaving our horrible food behind. you really should have seen our expressions man. then, we initial-d-ed the cars to the bus stand. nah, actually we didnt. we were very road-safety-conscious people. =) so anyway, my malaysian aunt called the bus company and they suggested that we make our way to the bus stand first. the funny thing was, we were all rushing back into the cars, then my mum asked me what time was it. so i replied, '3.15pm. by the time we reach there it would be 3.45pm.' she asked, 'then will we be late?' i stared at her and answered,'mum, the bus leaves at 3pm. it's 3.15pm now.' then it seemed to register to her at the moment why we were all so flustered. actually, i was surprisingly calm and i prayed. lol. so yeah. when we reached there, carrying our heavy luggages, big bags of titbits and what-seemed-like-100 kaya puffs all the way to the bus stand. from where we parked the cars, we climbed over the overhead bridge and squeezed past a million people to reach the bus stand. the bus co had promised a bus to take us to Johor as our bus had already left since it was their working personnel that had told us that the bus was leaving at 4pm. however, when we arrived there, the shitface (in-charge) told us that the to-Johor bus had left too. (shit the driver and company man!) so then, a malaysian uncle offered to drive us to Johor in a car, and then we would take private cars home from there.
after driving for more than an hour, we saw a bus driving in front of us and noticed the car plate, JEH 8XX2. pui! it was our to-Johor bus! so we decided to follow it until it came to a stop, then demand to board that bus. while 'escorting' that bus, all of my relatives were very excited and began talking about how they should 'hijack' the bus or something. it should have been terribly hilarious because everyone in the car was laughing. all except me. i was just staring at them blankly, having no idea what they were talking about as they were speaking in Hokkien. when we finally caught up with the bus, the driver claimed that the bus was already full and that it couldnt take us. #(*@^!&$(!()%0 so we had no choice but to continue having my uncle to drive us to Johor. after we had all settled back and squashed up in the car, my uncle tried starting the car, but failed. we were all feeling dreadful (then i started praying again). after trying for a few minutes, the car finally started again. thank GOD!!! and guess what? surprises come one after another. just when we all thought it would be a smooth journey ahead, we suddenly realised that the car was running out of petrol. and the coolest thing was that it was just an extremely long stretch of road with no petrol stations. so i began to pray again. it was tense man. we even switched off the air-con to save on the petrol. we slowly arrived at a toll, and asked the person there how far were we from the nearest petrol station. the lady told us 6km. we carried on with our journey and reached the second toll. we, again, asked the person how far were we from the nearest petrol station. the man replied 10km. ???!!!?!?!?!?! wahh, i didnt know we were travelling backwards. were we in 'a series of unfortunate events' or what?!
but anyway i think the lady was the right one 'cos we did reach a petrol station before our car 'died' on us. phewww! so now i am back! =)
so here i really wanna thank all my malaysian relatives who had helped us so much and who were more flustered than us. =)

loves pretty things
