no more m18s for me.

seriously, i am never gonna watch another gory m18 show man. if you ever see me considering such a movie, do me a favour. please slap me.
watched 'the hills have eyes' with darren today. thought it wouldn't be that bad since i am already 18. but i was so so wrong.
it was so damn gross can?? and it's not just about the killings and gore.
it's plain sick.
darren had told me that this show was about mutants killing human beings trespassing their land. so i thought, at the most, it would be cannibalism right?
that's bad enough. but you see..
there was one part of the movie where the mutant tried to rape that girl. or did he rape? i don't know. i was too psyched out. i mean, RAPE??? what on earth?!! he was supposed to just kill that girl in the gori-est way he could and eat her right??? okay 'eat' sounds gross too but really, would you rather get raped by a mutant or be killed by him? i would definitely pick the latter man. it was just plain sick. damn sick can??
then there was this other mutant who was turned on or something and forced a woman to breastfeed him. wah lao! i cannot stand it!
anyway, throughout the way show, i was half closing my eyes and covering my ears. call me timid, i don't care. i don't mind those horrible ghost movies you know? but i just can't take gore.
plus the cinema was freezing cold. in order to give myself a break from the show and to get away from the cold, i had wanted to take a walk around ps halfway throughout the show. but the entrance/exit was 'strapped'. (i don't know if you understand what i mean but i really can't find that proper word) so i had no choice but to return to the theatre. i didn't wanna be caught for loitering you know? i was already given strange expressions by a man when i practically ran out from the toilet. yes, i ran. aiya i was just too freaked out by the show, although i kept assuring myself that no mutant would be able to cross into singapore.
this show sucked. gross. sick. traumatising.
yes i was definitely traumatised.
if i can rate this movie i will fail it badly. i don't like this movie - at all. if i am influential enough, i will sue the whole production team for causing me insecurity, weaker mind, paranoia and fear.
as if this movie was not enough to cause me insomnia, shaun has just showed me a video of steven lim doing a self-mtv of 'sex bomb'. wah lao!!!
now i am doubly-traumatised.
i mean, i am not against him or anything you know? i know that some people like to do this kind of mtvs to entertain others. i myself enjoy some of the videos on youtube whereby people dance to songs just to be funny. but seriously, i don't see a need in a person doing that half-naked. of course, unless he has a really hot body.
like my husbands. =)

p.s. if anyone of you had already read this entry yesterday, you would notice that i have made amendments to this post. simply because i feel that i was a bit too rude and mean when i typed this yesterday. so, sorry, steven (if you ever read this).

loves pretty things
